18k Gold Plated Brass

These pieces are made from Italian brass with a 2.5 micron layer of 18k gold plating. The plating gives the warm shine of gold, and like all plated jewelry it will gradually wear off with use.

To clean: gently buff with a soft, dry microfiber or cotton cloth.

Avoid:

• Silver polishing cloths and chemical cleaners
• Lemon, vinegar or other acids
• Soaking, scrubbing, or abrasive cloths and toothbrushes

These can damage the plating.

To make the plating last longer: put your jewelry on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before water, sweat and exercise. Dry it with a soft cloth if it gets wet.

If the plating wears off over time, the brass underneath may darken. A jeweler can replate your piece to refresh it.

Take good care of your jewelry and it will last for years.

• Store it dry in an airtight jewelry box or bag when you're not wearing it. This preserves the shine of the metal.
